Lottery Awards For All

Digital Arts Box is bringing more adult learning to Halton, with four free courses covering a range of digital and artistic skills; including photography, filmmaking and graphic design. Our two four-week courses begin in November and our two seven-week courses are scheduled for early in the new year.

 Created as part of a nationwide push to tackle social exclusion and wellbeing deficits brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Digital Arts For All project seeks to address these challenges by boosting people’s digital creative skills in supportive, community-based environments.

Who can get involved?

We are looking for young people who are: 

  • Aged 18+ 
  • A Halton resident
  • Possibly undergoing challenging circumstances (financial, emotional, health etc.)

How much does it cost?

This project is completely free of charge for adults from Halton. 

When does the project take place?

The project will run between November 2022 – February 2023, with the four-week courses starting in November and the seven-week courses starting in January:

Photography Basics Four-Week Course

Monday 7th November – Monday 28th November at 10am to 12pm

Filmmaking Four-Week Course

Wednesday 16th November- Wednesday 7th December at 10am to 12pm

Photo Editing Seven-Week Course

Monday 23rd January – Monday 13th February at 10am to 12pm

Graphic Design Seven-Week Course

Tuesday 24th January – Tuesday 14th February at 10am to 12pm

Where will the sessions take place?

The sessions will take place in Widnes and Runcorn.

What equipment do I need?

We will bring all of the equipment required for the course.
