We are working in partnership with Halton Borough Council throughout the summer holidays to deliver FREE creative activities to young people from Halton. Thanks to funding from the Holiday Activity Fund we have organised five weeks of four-day activity clubs, including: Digital Music Making, Coding and Robotics, Stop Motion Animation and Video Game Design

No previous experience is required, these activities are suitable for young people of all abilities.

Every young person who enrols for these sessions will be provided with a free meal each day thanks to our partners at Quigley’s Community Cafe, who are based on-site.

As part of your application for a place on this project you will be asked to inform us about your young person’s dietary requirements and to choose from the below options:

Sandwich Filling- Ham, Turkey, Tuna, Cheese, Egg

Fruit- Apple, Tangerine, Banana

Crisps- Ready Salted, Salt and Vinegar, Cheese and Onion

Drink Carton- Apple, Blackcurrant, Orange

Who can get involved?

We are looking for young people who are: 

  • Aged 8-16 
  • A Halton resident
  • Eligible for free school meals 

How much does it cost?

This project is completely free of charge for young people to attend.

Tuesday 26th July – Thursday 29th July at 12pm to 4pm

Video Game Design

Tuesday 9th August – Thursday 12th August at 12pm to 4pm

Coding and Robotics

Tuesday 2nd August – Thursday 5th August at 12pm to 4pm

Animation

Tuesday 16th August – Thursday 19th August at 12pm to 4pm

Animation

Tuesday 23rd August – Thursday 26th August at 12pm to 4pm

Where will the sessions take place?

All sessions will be run at Mako Create’s base at Grangeway Community Centre, Grangeway, Runcorn WA7 5LY

What equipment do I need?

We will bring all of the equipment required for the face to face course, so you don’t need to bring any equipment with you.
