Overview | Creative Halton- Graphics Design Basics

This short course offers the opportunity for you to learn new skills, develop your creative and graphic design knowledge and socialise with like-minded people in a relaxed and supportive environment. 

Class sizes will be kept small (maximum 10 people) and delivered by two tutors with industry experience. 

You’ll learn about

• Fundamental graphic design processes
• File formats and sizes
• Different graphic design software that’s available
• Creating digital graphics such as Logos, Posters and Images for social media, with guidance from your tutors.

Who is the project for?

Do you live in Halton and are interested in creative, graphic design but don’t know where to start? These sessions are perfect for anyone who has limited experience in graphic design but is keen to know more. If you want to get creative, try design and learn new skills in a supportive, social atmosphere then this is the course for you.

Eligibility

To take part you:

• • Must be Aged 18+
  • Must be a resident of Halton Borough

You will need to have basic IT skills e.g. be able to operate a smartphone, be able to login to a computer; be able to navigate between multiple tabs on a computer – all other skills will be taught during our sessions.

Where? 

The course is in-person and is to be held at Grangeway Community Centre, Runcorn, WA7 5LY

Costs?

Due to all the places being fully funded by Halton Foundation and Community Foundation For Merseyside this course is completely free of charge.
