Following the success of our previous adult learning projects, we are bringing more digital skills learning to Halton, thanks to funding from the Arnold Clark Community Fund.

Our graphic design course will start in November and run for four sessions, during which our participants will learn how to create images and text and how to arrange them to achieve a professional look.

As a society we are still adjusting to life after the COVID-19 pandemic and, with the added pressures of a cost of living crisis, it is normal for many of us to experience feelings of social isolation and a lack of confidence in learning new skills and meeting new people. We hope that our free creative courses go some way to combating this by introducing engaging creative activities in a positive, communal atmosphere.

If you’re an adult from Halton who would like to learn digital skills, socialise with new people and perhaps take a first step towards a different career, these courses are for you. We especially want to hear from those who have experienced barriers to learning in the past, such as disabilities or challenging circumstances, and those who haven’t tried adult learning or digital tech training before.

The Arnold Clark Community Fund works with UK-registered charities and local community groups to offer funding in the wake of Covid-19.
